Our garden’s apple tree produced almost no fruit last year, but is festooned with fruit this year, so much so that a couple of its branches have bent and cracked under the weight. Many have been picked already, but there are still a load more up there. Most will be eventually distributed to family and friends, but the rest left to the birds.
