Photos list: plants
I never really understood the appeal of these plants until the last year or so, since I've built up a large group of them, and realised how good they look in a large group. They now form a leafy edging right along one of the flowerbeds. I don't remember buying this plant originally, so maybe it was given to me or was here already - but I think from research on the web that it's probably the variety Epimedium x versicolor 'Sulphureum'. The leaves make a handsome green mound, and though I'm not a great fan of yellow flowers, I love the pale yellow of these.
