I've only recently discovered the beautiful Narcissus 'Pheasant's Eye', and last autumn planted it together with the orange tulip 'Marjolein', as the narcissus has that delicate touch of orange around its centre and I thought they might complement one another. As indeed they did. The epimedium leaves add to the orange theme, having an orangey-brown tinge to the new leaves at this time of the year.
