Still waters, as the popular saying goes, "run deep". (I'm sure I'm not the only person who has found that this isn't necessarily true . . . ) Certainly the still water in my garden has never been particularly deep, but it's still seemed to suit the frogs that arrived. The current pond was made in autumn 2002, an improved version of an earlier very tiny pond.
